Talk of cheese dominated the month of September as thousands of Jamaicans celebrated Cheese Month. The month began with a bang as Dairy Industries hosted Jamaica’s first cheese fair – a day that was filled with entertainment, fun and a variety of cheeses for the entire family.
There were other activities including in-store promotions, radio giveaways, the launch of the Tastee Cheese Back-to-School Scholarship, and the return of the popular Say Cheese Road Festivals.
The Tastee Cheese mascot, Mr Wedge, was unveiled and he will also be making appearances at primary schools around the island for the rest of the year to help promote the goodness of cheese.
